Mixed Reality Military Operations in Urban Terrain was a test ground for urban terrain operations. The physical environment consisted of building facades, doorways, windows and lights. The physical environment was augmented with virtual environment extensions, virtual characters and effects. The design phase for this project consisted of multiple interviews with active duty soldiers to ensure tactical accuracy of the scenario. The scenario would adapt to the actions and verbal communication the trainee had with virtual entities.
